Flavours of Istria receives prestigious World Cookbook Award

The book "Flavours of Istria," authored by Hrvoje Petrić, chef Jeffrey Vella, and photographer Mario Kučera, has been honored with the Gourmand Award in the A06 Europe category. This accolade was announced by Edouard Cointreau, president of the Gourmand Awards, and the award ceremony is scheduled for June 2025 in Lisbon. The book is divided into sections titled White, Red, and Blue Istria, showcasing the region's authentic agriculture and distinctive gastronomy.
